Drive impactful change as an Advocacy and Campaign Development Advisor for Oxfam in Sidi-Bouzid, Tunisia. Focus on training initiatives and advocacy strategies supporting gender equality.
Engage for three months in the Equality in Action Voluntary Cooperation Programme, designed to enhance the rights of marginalized voices.
Your role will involve providing essential training and resources to local organizations, fostering their ability to create and implement advocacy initiatives effectively. Adaptability and a proactive approach are vital as you navigate this dynamic role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Train teams in advocacy and awareness campaigns
• Create development resources for ongoing training
• Assist in identifying impactful advocacy strategies
• Guide associations during campaign implementation
Requirements:
• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Relevant degree in communication or advocacy
• Two years’ experience in NGOs or international cooperation
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluent in French;
Arabic highly valued
