Location: MontrealThe Role
We are partnering with a well-established leader in the stainless-steel distribution and metal services industry, supporting customers across Quebec and Atlantic Canada. This organization is known for its one-stop, customer-first approach and its ability to deliver high-quality stainless-steel products through advanced processing capabilities such as laser, waterjet, and plasma cutting, as well as production cutting of bars.
With access to extensive long and flat product inventory and global distribution channels, this team plays a critical role in delivering fast, reliable, and customized solutions to a diverse B2B client base.
They are currently hiring a Bilingual Outside Sales Representative to support continued growth and provide exceptional service to customers across the region.
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by building and maintaining relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities. This is a client-facing, results-driven role perfect for a bilingual professional with strong sales experience in industrial or B2B markets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients to ensure long-term retention and new business growthIdentify new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, and proactive outreachConduct regular client visits to present products and services, supporting customer needs and driving salesCollaborate with internal teams to coordinate customer support and deliver a seamless client experienceBalance customer satisfaction with company profitability and sales objectivesMonitor market trends, provide insights to management, and support marketing efforts as neededAddress customer concerns professionally and in a timely mannerMaintain accurate records of sales activities, calls, and follow-upsMaximize sales potential within assigned territory and uncover growth opportunitiesAchieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall growth strategySubmit accurate sales reports, including call logs, territory plans, and client updatesTrack and resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of serviceProvide management with regular updates on sales progress, challenges, and opportunitiesRequirements
Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)2–5 years of outside or field sales experience; B2B experience is an assetExperience in industrial distribution, metals, or related sectors is a plusFull professional proficiency in French and English (reading, writing, and verbal)Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsTrack record of meeting or exceeding sales quotasProficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systemsValid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territorySelf-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently#INDSTRIVEON
