We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to fill the role of  Bilingual Field Sales Manager - Quebec . Reporting to the Director, National Field Sales, the Field Sales Manager will effectively represent  Lindt & Sprüngli  to the Area Merchandise Manager, Territory Managers and General Trade in a professional manner that promotes the aggressive growth and development of Lindt, Ghirardelli, and Ricola products within the mandate of the Lindt & Sprüngli sales and marketing plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve sales objectives through effectively managing the deployment of Territory Managers while respecting the Key Accounts and Regional plan.
Professional management of company equipment and materials.
Respect brand equity and the policies and procedures of the company.
Responsible for store level initiatives with the Selling Banners.
Sales Force Management.
Develop a mutually profitable relationship between Lindt & Sprüngli and the General Trade. Influence growth in the category through a focused decision-making process. Respond and manage customer service issues ongoing. Provide candid feedback and recommendations on Sales Deployment and small Key Account issues in order to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
Sales Force Deployment   Develop a Sales Force deployment strategy on a Regional basis ensuring that it is on strategy/supportive of Lindt & Sprüngli sales and marketing plans.
Provide direction to Lindt & Sprüngli Area Merchandise Manager and Territory Managers to effectively execute the Business Plans vide training and development opportunities that are compatible with Lindt; main responsibility is to mentor those qualifying individuals who report directly to them.
Promote Marketing initiatives (new products, P.O.S., category reviews, etc.) to fully maximize the accounts' potential. Present and promote current market data as it relates to Lindt, Ghirardelli and Ricola products – educate Area Merchandise Manager, Territory Managers & Accounts. Develop and maintain superior account relationships.
Skills and Attitude Overview   Demonstrate accuracy, conciseness and timely follow up in completing Sales Force Deployment models, territory reviews, business reviews, reports, orders and business documents, as well as pro-actively manage administrative issues combined with a candid and focused thought process when providing reviews and analysis of the business issues in a given territory/account.
Produce win-win results with all facets of the team as well as with clients and encourage expression of ideas and opinions.
Operate at maximum effectiveness and always be searching for ways to improve the efficiency of how Lindt delivers results, both to internal and external customers.
Be accountable for all facets of their business as it relates to the sales force and designated accounts within the territory, e.g. retail activities in the region and Territory Managers’ accounts within their territories. Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of Sales Force deployment, the business, category and the trade, and apply an attitude of constant learning at all levels of Sales Force management.
Requirements:
University or equivalent college degree in business-related courses.
Bilingual in French & English (required).
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Packaged Goods industry.
Computer Proficiency, knowledge of automated sales tools; literate in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Self-starter with an ability to work both independently and as a team member.
Strong organizational skills. Good communication skills, both oral and written. Entrepreneurial flair is an asset.
