What to expect….

The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business and maintaining current accounts, with a strong focus on aggressive new business development. This role is ideal for a hunter‑style salesperson who thrives on prospecting, cold calling, and winning new opportunities in the transportation, pharmaceutical, medical, and healthcare sectors.

  • Develop strategies to contribute to continuous quality improvement in order to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Drive daily outbound activity including cold calls, outreach campaigns, and targeted lead generation.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
  • Conduct market research and identify emerging opportunities within transportation, pharmaceutical, medical, and healthcare sectors.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand presence and generate leads.
  • Lead negotiations to secure profitable, long‑term agreements.
  • Monitor competitor offerings and market trends to position ATS Healthcare as the preferred partner.
  • Present performance updates and growth opportunities to key accounts
  • Prepare sales contracts and proposals as per guidelines.
  • Monitor sales activities, maintain records, and compile reports.
  • Continuously work with new customers to gain a thorough understanding of their business needs and requirements while offering solutions
  • Conduct sales calls with potential customers and deliver sales presentations that follow the company’s sales plan.
  • Establish strong sales relationships with pharmaceutical and healthcare companies by understanding their business needs and offering value‑added solutions.
  • Maintain current and detailed account profiles on all targets.
  • Independently manage, monitor, and report on your assigned territory to ensure reach and frequency of targets are being met on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Attend internal and external sales meetings.
  • Follow up on accounts receivables

What you need….

  • University Degree or College Diploma in a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Minimum 5 years of industry‑related experience
  • Successful track record in developing business in the transportation industry.
  • Experience in new account acquisition, cold calling, and project management
  • Excellent time‑management and organizational skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and proven sales ability
