Senior Geochemist

Position: Senior Geochemist at BluMetric
Location: Montreal West

Lead diverse mining projects as an intermediate-senior Geochemist with Blu Metric in Ottawa, Toronto, Sudbury, or Montreal. Utilize your expertise in geochemistry, water quality, and mine waste management to drive impactful environmental solutions.

In this full-time role, you will support and lead various environmental and mining initiatives. Showcase your strong technical skills in acid rock drainage and metal leaching assessments. This role includes project oversight, mentoring junior staff, and interfacing with clients and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical reviews for complex mining projects

• Design and oversee geochemical sampling programs

• Interpret datasets for mine waste and contaminant assessments

• Develop and communicate geochemical models

• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders

Requirements:

• University degree in geochemistry or related field

• 4-10 years of relevant experience in environmental geochemistry

• Professional designation in Canada or eligibility to obtain

• Strong technical knowledge of mine waste systems

• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
