Blu Metric is hiring a Geochemist with a strong foundation in mine waste geochemistry and water quality for a full-time position. You will lead assessments, design sampling programs, and mentor junior staff to ensure successful project completion across environmental challenges. Your technical insights will drive rehabilitation and feasibility assessments, collaborating with a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical assessments for multi-disciplinary projects
• Plan and execute geochemical sampling across environmental media
• Analyze and interpret geochemical datasets for reporting
• Develop and validate modeling scenarios for water quality
• Mentor junior staff in their technical development
Requirements:
• Degree in geochemistry, environmental science, or related field
• 4-10 years’ experience within consulting or mining
• Expertise in geochemical modeling software tools
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
• Commitment to safety leadership in all environments
