Join Alamos Gold's Island Gold Mine as a Resource Geologist in Dubreuilville, ON. This role emphasizes geological model development, contributing to innovative mining operations and successful project outcomes.
Reporting to the Senior Resource Geologist, you will be instrumental in creating and maintaining geological and grade block models. Your expertise will enhance the integration of various data sources, supporting both underground and open pit operations to ensure effective mine planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop geological models for operations as needed
• Integrate drilling and production data into resource models
• Facilitate reconciliation between resource and production outcomes
• Assist with internal resource updates and reporting
• Uphold QA/QC compliance throughout projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Geology or similar
• 3-5 years of relevant mining experience
• 1-2 years in resource modeling
• Experience with Datamine and Microsoft Office Suite
• Preference for GIT or P.Geo eligibility
