Laboratory Assistant - Sample Processing
Job Overview
As a Laboratory Assistant for the Sample Processing team located in Senneville
, you will mainly be responsible for sample preparation, retrieving all specimens and transporting them in a timely manner to the laboratory. Your success will ensure the smooth running of our research, as well as the integrity of our pre‑clinical studies.
- Prepares the required material for the study conduct according to information received and keeps a functional inventory of the required material.
- Conducts the preparation and distribution of biological samples.
- Performs filing, archiving, transfer, or disposal of material.
- Prints and labels samples (blood, urine, etc.).
- Retrieves and transports collected samples to the appropriate laboratory.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Passion for science.
- Good attention to detail.
- Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.).

Free shuttle service from the Sainte‑Anne‑de‑Bellevue train station, John Abbott College, and from the REM station of l’Anse à l’Orme to the Senneville site; free parking; electric vehicle charging station. - Salary: $17.50 per hour with primes of:
- Evenings: $2.50.
- Weekend: $2.75.
- Overtime: time and a half.
- Holidays: double time.
- Annual bonus based on performance.
- Schedule:
Weekdays, Monday to Friday; may require overtime or weekend work depending on needs. - Permanent position as of hiring, full‑time 37.5 hrs per week.
