Geosyntec is seeking an Early-Career Scientist to collaborate on contaminated site assessments and rehabilitation projects across Ontario, including Ottawa, Kingston, and Toronto. You will utilize your academic training by conducting investigations, sampling soil and water, and supporting environmental approvals. Expect hands-on mentoring from seasoned professionals in a culture that values collaboration and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct soil and water sampling and environmental inspections
• Support Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
• Analyze chemical data and prepare technical reports
• Collaborate on brownfield redevelopment and risk assessments
• Drive to various project sites and client locations
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in geology, environmental science, or engineering
• Ability to interpret scientific data and reports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in environmental consulting preferred
• Valid Canadian driver’s license required
