Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality minor drywall repair, including patching, taping, and mudding holes or cracks.

• Execute interior and exterior painting projects to maintain the visual and structural integrity of the facility.

• Carry out floor sanding and surface preparation tasks safely and efficiently.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve various mechanical, structural, or facility-related issues daily.

• Utilize a wide array of hand and power tools with precision and full compliance with safety standards.

• Complete various general handyman tasks, moving projects forward with autonomy and attention to detail.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, reporting any major structural concerns to management.

Qualifications

• Outstanding hands-on experience as a handyman or general maintenance worker.

• High level of comfort operating diverse specialized tools and troubleshooting facility problems.

• Strong manual dexterity and physical coordination for precision repairs and finishing work.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities to independently figure out the best approach for unique repair tasks.

• Excellent time-management skills to handle multiple maintenance requests throughout the day shift.

• Proven, verifiable track record of success working as a handyman or in a related skilled trades role.

• Demonstrated proficiency in minor drywall repair, painting, and floor sanding techniques.

• Physical capability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and manage the physical demands of maintenance work.

• Possession of standard personal protective equipment, including certified steel-toe safety boots.
