Parts & Yard Dismantler
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and mechanically inclined Parts & Yard Dismantler to join our client’s team in Cumberland, ON . This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has strong mechanical aptitude, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
You will be responsible for dismantling vehicles, recovering reusable parts, and maintaining a safe and organized yard.
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Location:
Cumberland, ON (Southeast of Ottawa - no bus transportation)
Shift: Monday to Friday | Days
Job type: Temporary|Full-time

Responsibilities:
Dismantle vehicles and remove reusable components (engines, transmissions, body panels, electronics, etc.)
Identify, tag, and organize parts for resale or inventory
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment (impact wrenches, hoists, forklifts)
Drain automotive fluids in compliance with environmental and safety regulations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and workspace
Assist team members and customers with locating parts when required
Inspect parts for quality and usability before inventory
Load and unload vehicles and materials
Follow all safety procedures and properly use PPE
Report hazards, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions promptly
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in auto dismantling, mechanics, or salvage yard operations is an asset
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of automotive systems
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Valid driver’s license required
Forklift certification or experience is an asset
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer or inventory system knowledge (preferred)
Team-oriented with good communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent bending, lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods
Comfortable performing physically demanding work daily
Ability to work in loud, dusty, and outdoor environments
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
