Elevate your career with Sysco as an Ammonia Refrigeration Operator. This full-time role focuses on the safe operation of refrigeration systems from Tuesday to Saturday.
Reporting to the Fleet & Facility Maintenance Manager, you will ensure the efficient functioning of ammonia refrigeration systems. Key tasks involve troubleshooting, performing repairs, and conducting regular inspections to maintain facility safety. Ideal candidates will possess a Class A or B refrigeration operator certification and have at least one year of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safe operation of ammonia refrigeration systems
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility
• Troubleshoot and repair overhead doors and ramps
• Perform minor building renovations and workstation configurations
• Complete preventative maintenance on related equipment
Requirements:
• Class A or B refrigeration operator certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a refrigeration operator role
• Experience in facilities maintenance is preferred
• Physical ability to perform various activities
• Reliable and safety-conscious attitude
