Position: Electrician with CN - Unionized Role
Location: Montréal-Est

Join CN as an Electrician responsible for maintaining various installations and performing essential repairs. This role requires a valid journeyman certificate and a Class 5 driver's license.

As an Electrician, you will perform preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance on buildings and equipment. Key tasks involve liaising with the lead electrician and suppliers to secure guidance for specialized work. The role also entails responding to emergency calls, working indoors and outdoors, and ensuring a safe environment for all. Your service-oriented approach will be vital as you engage with all CN departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical installations

• Coordinate with other teams and suppliers for assistance

• Respond to emergency calls during off hours

• Work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces

• Ensure safety protocols are upheld in all tasks

Requirements:

• Interprovincial journeyman electrician certificate necessary

• Valid Class 5 driver's license;
Class 1 preferred

• Ability to interpret electrical drawings accurately

• Strong knowledge of power distribution systems

• Availability for potential overtime and off-site work
