Key Responsibilities:

• Perform major and minor repairs on locomotives

• Diagnose engine malfunctions and execute repairs

• Inspect, service, and maintain engines per regulations

• Utilize welding equipment for repairs

• Prepare maintenance reports accurately

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Experience or diploma in diesel mechanics

• Valid driver’s license

• Strong understanding of diesel mechanics

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (22 kg)
