SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:- Develop your skills as an apprentice, with the support of other experienced AMEs;
- Ensure all aircraft documents are duly completed;
- Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
- Carry out the duties and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Service Control Manual and ensure familiarization and compliance with standard Transport Canada regulations;
- Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
- Comply with the SMS (Safety Management System) policy;
- Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
- Assist in all other related tasks as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Working towards becoming a licensed technician;
- Previous experience in a related apprentice position is an asset;
- Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
- Detail-oriented;
- Positive attitude;
- Good team spirit;
- Good communication skills.
- Being in the process of finalizing a recognized aircraft maintenance technician program, or equivalent, is required.
