Heavy Equipment Operator in Renfrew

Location: Montreal

Join our construction team as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the County of Renfrew. You will operate various machinery to ensure safe and efficient site preparations and operations.

We are searching for a safety-focused Equipment Operator with at least three years of experience.

Your role will involve operating heavy machinery such as excavators and backhoes while closely collaborating with the Construction Supervisor. Key skills include trenching, grading, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators, backhoes, and skid steers safely

• Execute trenching and grading according to site plans

• Move structural components to assist carpentry crews

• Perform pre-trip inspections and report issues

• Maintain cleanliness of the work zone and utilize spotters

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment operation experience

• Skilled in operating on steep slopes and adverse environments

• Class G driver’s license; AZ or CDL preferred

• Competency in reading site plans

• Certification in relevant operations is preferred
