Preflight Mechanic - Mécanicien de prévol

In your duties, you will be called upon to:

• Read and interpret technical drawings;
• Install and repair mechanical components;
• Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems;
• Maintain mechanical systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight controls, etc.);
• Prepare the aircraft for flight ("refueling", daily inspections);
• Participate in engine tests and auxiliary power units;
• Make changes in the form of service bulletins while respecting industry standards;
• Participate in the continuous improvement program (AES);
• All other related functions according to experience and qualifications.

As the ideal candidate, you hold:

• A D.E.C or A.E.C. in Aircraft Maintenance orics Diploma, diploma equivalence in Quebec;
• An M2 License (Aircraft Maintenance) and 3 years of experience, within the last 5 years.

AND;

• You demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and work well in a multidisciplinary team;
• You have good communication skills;
• You have a good command of the French language (oral and written) and/or English.
