Become a key player as a Heavy Equipment Technician with Caron Equipment Inc., serving the Iam Gold Project in Ottawa, ON. This role encompasses both field service and shop-based work to maintain vital equipment.

Caron Equipment Inc. is on the lookout for experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians to join their maintenance crew. You will be responsible for servicing and troubleshooting a diverse fleet of heavy machinery utilized in construction and mining sectors. Ensuring low equipment downtime is paramount, and your ability to collaborate with maintenance teams will enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostics and repairs in-field and shop settings

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues

• Perform routine maintenance and field service calls

• Collaborate with site and maintenance personnel

• Maintain thorough records of maintenance activities

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification

• At least 3 years of related experience

• Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools

• Familiarity with equipment brands is preferred

• Valid Class G driver’s license or higher
