Location: Montreal
Olymbec seeks a Fire Alarm System Installer to support our Fire Protection Department. This certified role focuses on ensuring the integrity of fire alarm systems through installation, programming, and testing.
As a Fire Alarm System Installer, you will report to the Fire Alarm Systems Supervisor and play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with ULC and NBC standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, generating reports, and repairing fire and security systems. This position requires a specialized skill set in programming and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain fire alarm and emergency systems
• Test system components in cooperation with authorities
• Produce detailed reports after inspections
• Repair and service intrusion alarms as required
• Handle installations according to industry standards
Requirements:
• DEP in installation and maintenance or electronics
• Knowledge of security system programming software
• Physical ability to lift 70 lbs and work at heights
• Familiarity with Mircom and Bosch systems
• Awareness of current ULC and NBC updates
