Location: Montreal
Step into the role of an Aviation Ground Equipment Mechanic with Air Inuit at Montréal-Trudeau Airport. Focus on maintaining and troubleshooting essential ground support vehicles to ensure uninterrupted operations.
As an Aviation Ground Equipment Mechanic, you will engage in vital maintenance and service activities that affect the company’s operations. Your expertise in diagnosing problems and performing repairs will contribute to upholding safety and efficiency at the airport. The position offers structured work hours and opportunities for occasional northern travel, providing a unique work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine maintenance on ground support equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues using tools
• Help remove and repair equipment components
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Complete necessary documentation and GSE paperwork
Requirements:
• High school diploma with a valid driver’s license
• capability to secure Airport Security Clearance
• Preference for candidates fluent in Nunavik’s languages
• Certification in automotive maintenance preferred
• Experience with ground support equipment is beneficial
