Job Description & How to Apply Below

Founded in Montreux in 1931, Clinique La Prairie has spent close to a century at the meeting point of Swiss medical science and exceptional hospitality. Today, as our Health Resorts and Longevity Hubs extend across the world, we are strengthening the commercial leadership that will guide that growth.

The position carries two responsibilities of equal weight. In Europe, you sell, personally, attentively, with a portfolio of your own. Worldwide, you hold accountability for the commercial performance of every Health Resort in our network.

The role

Based at our headquarters in Montreux, reporting to our Health Resorts Managing Director.

Europe: the client relationship
  • Lead the commercial effort for our Montreux flagship, supporting and developing the team on site to reach its occupancy and revenue ambitions
  • Accompany each qualified enquiry through to a confirmed stay, with the attentiveness and discernment such a decision deserves
  • Cultivate new clientele across Europe: identifying, meeting and earning the confidence of individuals and their advisors, while holding a personal portfolio
  • Guide each guest towards the programme genuinely suited to them; our clients place considerable trust in that counsel, and it must be well founded
  • Develop our circle of intermediaries, private travel designers, lifestyle concierges, family offices and medical referrers and establish considered partnerships with luxury houses across automotive, fashion and private aviation
Worldwide: stewardship of the commercial organisation
  • Assume accountability for the commercial performance of every Clinique La Prairie Health Resort and guarantee cross selling across the Clinique La Prairie ecosystem
  • Lead the regional sales directors, agreeing the ambition of each market and holding each of them to it with clarity and consistency
  • Take ownership of the commercial journey in its entirety — how an enquiry is received, qualified, accompanied and confirmed — and ensure it is conducted to the same standard in every market
  • Establish a common language of measurement: shared indicators and shared CRM standards, so that performance is read the same way everywhere
  • Maintain a steady rhythm of review: weekly on pipeline, monthly on performance, quarterly on ambition — intervening early wherever a market falls behind
  • Consolidate worldwide forecasting and keep executive management informed on enquiry flow, conversion and revenue pacing
  • Mentor and challenge the regional leaders, raising the commercial craft of the organization as a whole
  • Ensure that a guest welcomed in one market is known and cared for across the network
  • Interpret the market for us: competitors, currents, signals of demand — and work with Marketing and Operations on the private dinners, gatherings and engagements through which the brand is met
Your profile
  • At least ten years leading commercial teams within luxury, medical wellness or lifestyle management
  • A natural seller: a record of finding, cultivating and winning significant business yourself, and of opening or expanding a market
  • Experience guiding an international sales organisation and leading directors at a distance, across cultures and time zones
  • A true command of the commercial journey and of performance: you know how to set an ambition, read a pipeline, see precisely where confidence is lost, and hold a team to its commitments without diminishing it
  • A sincere interest in longevity and preventive health, you will speak of our programmes often, and you should believe in them
  • Present and hands-on: as comfortable preparing a forecast as receiving a guest, or sitting beside a colleague through a difficult conversation
  • An established circle of relationships among discerning clientele and their advisors in Europe, and among the finest travel designers, concierge services and family offices
  • Rigour in CRM and pipeline management
  • Presence and composure before the most demanding of audiences
Practical requirements
  • Fluent English is essential;
French is a considerable advantage, further languages welcome
  • A degree in Business, luxury or Marketing; a Master’s is advantageous
  • Established in Switzerland, or prepared to settle in Montreux region; frequent international travel
  • Swiss or European nationality is a requirement for this position
What we offer

A position of genuine influence within one of Switzerland’s most respected names, at a moment of international growth and a place to work on the shores of Lake Geneva.
