Cedar Point Health is a physician‑owned company with a dedication to healthcare on the western slope of Colorado. We seek a qualified NP or PA for our Primary Care clinic in Montrose, Colorado, to deliver patient care in collaboration with physicians.
Significant production bonus pay available.

Responsibilities- Perform examinations, obtain comprehensive medical histories, assess health status.
- Document patient information and care in EHR.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Prescribe medications and treat illnesses.
- Instruct patients/families on medications and treatments; educate patients regarding medical conditions, treatments, medications, and preventive measures.
- Coordinate appropriate specialty referrals.
- Consult with or refer more complicated cases to physicians as needed.
- May support urgent care facilities as required.
- Current state license.
- Knowledge of medical model and roles of NPs/PAs.
- Experience in patient assessment techniques (medical histories, physicals, evaluation).
- Proficiency with medical equipment and instruments for patient care.
- Ability to diagnose and treat medical problems and develop care plans.
- Confidential documentation of medical records.
- Accurate evaluation of patient problems and appropriate intervention or referral.
- Development and revision of patient care plans based on status.
- Decision-making within scope of practice.
- Effective collaboration with physicians on complex cases.
- Maintaining quality control standards.
- Calm and effective response to emergencies.
- Interpretation, adaptation, and application of guidelines and procedures.
- Clear communication and building effective relationships with patients, staff, and public.
Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner or accredited physician assistant program.
Experience1–2 years of clinical experience.
Mental andPhysical Requirements
Varied activities including standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting; full range of body motion, handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye–hand coordination. Must use a variety of office equipment. May work under stressful conditions.
ConditionsNormal office and exam room environment. Requires ability to work under pressure and with diverse populations, including staff, physicians, clients, patients, insurance companies, labs, hospitals, and other members of public. Potential exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinical environment.
