Aboutthe Career
The Nurse Navigator functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team as an advocate, liaison, educator, and counselor for oncology patients across the continuum of care. This position assists in informed decision making; collaborating with other members of the team to allow for timely screening, diagnosis, treatment, and supportive care throughout the patient experience. The Navigator will provide individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to help identify and overcome barriers that may hinder quality and timely medical and psychosocial patient care.
This position does provide direct patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Colorado RN license.
- Nurse navigator, case management and/or patient educator experience preferred.
- BLS Certification required.
