Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour. Expected hours: 70–84 hr per week.

Job Description

Willing to work 7 a 7 off Sunday – Saturday. A skilled fiber splicer looking to join a dynamic team that is at the forefront of the telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities
  • Fiber Optic Splicing:
    Efficiently splice and terminate fiber optic cables to ensure optimal performance and minimal signal loss.
  • Troubleshooting:
    Identify and troubleshoot fiber optic issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize service disruptions.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Conduct rigorous quality checks to guarantee that splicing work meets industry standards.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate records of splice locations, cable routes, and other relevant data.
  • Safety:
    Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
    Perform routine maintenance on splicing equipment and tools.
  • Collaboration:

    Coordinate and execute fiber optic projects efficiently with engineering and operations teams.
Requirements
  • Experience:

    Proven experience in fiber optic splicing, with a minimum of [X years] of hands‑on experience.
  • Certifications:

    Relevant certifications such as FOA (Fiber Optic Association) or equivalent.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in using splicing equipment, fusion splicing, and OTDR testing.
