Trillium Construction is seeking experienced Journeyman Industrial Pipe fitters for an industrial project in Montville, Connecticut. The project is located at a Rand-Whitney paper mill and involves the prefabrication and installation of a new production line, which will eventually tie into the existing production line during the scheduled October shutdown. -Duration: 2–3 months
-Pay: $40.00 per hour
-Per Diem: $130 per day, paid 7 days per week as long as all scheduled hours are worked

- Schedule:

First four weeks will be 5/10s, with the schedule increasing to 7/12s when the October shutdown begins

Job Duties:

-Prefabricate and install industrial piping for a new production line
-Measure, cut, fit, and install pipe according to project specifications
-Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and piping plans
-Perform pipe fabrication and installation with minimal supervision
-Assist with the eventual tie-in of the new production line to the existing production system
-Follow all project safety requirements and maintain a safe work environment
-Maintain a professional attitude and conduct throughout the project

Requirements:

-Minimum 7 years of industrial pipe fitting experience
-Strong industrial/manufacturing experience required
-Must be proficient in reading isometric drawings and blueprints
-Must have all required hand tools in a lockable gang box; tool bags are not permitted
-Must provide and wear required PPE at all times
-Must pass all required pre-employment qualifications and drug screening
-Must complete required online safety training
-Must be dependable and able to commit to the project schedule, including the increased hours during the October shutdown
