Heavy industry, 24/7 operation*
* Fluor is looking for an experienced Industrial HVAC Technician to support operations at the Rand Whitney Container board paper mill in Montville, CT. This is a hands on role in a heavy industry environment where reliability, safety, and teamwork matter every day.

** What You'll Do*
* + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all HVAC systems throughout the mill

+ Read and work from blueprints, P&IDs, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, and single line drawings

+ Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, glycol loops, air makeup units, and plant exhaust equipment

+ Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, amprobes, RTD/mA/T C calibrators, and laptops for system communication

+ Work closely with E&I technicians when needed

+ Follow step by step calibration and startup procedures

+ Enter work orders, parts, and PM data into the CMMS (Maximo)

+ Troubleshoot 480V 3 phase motor starter circuits and 120/24V control circuits

+ Diagnose control issues using your understanding of PLC logic and operation

+ Work with equipment such as:

+ Rosemount temperature transmitters

+ ASCO solenoids

+ Pressure and flow limit switches

** Job Requirements*
* ** What You Bring*
* + High school diploma or GED

+ S 2 license preferred, or a 2 year HVAC certificate/trade school equivalent

+ 4+ years of HVAC experience (industrial experience a plus)

+ Strong troubleshooting skills with 24V and 120V control circuits

+ Familiarity with PLCs (Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc)

+ Ability to follow strict safety procedures, including Lock Tag Try and confined space protocols

+ Detail oriented mindset and willingness to document work properly
