Program Overview
Cochegan House is a residential work‑release program providing adult males under the supervision of DOC individualized treatment services, job preparation, and substance and mental health education to successfully re‑enter their communities.
Position SummaryThe Case Manager 1 will utilize a strengths‑based, client‑centered approach, providing structure, case management, job development, and supervision to justice‑involved men as they re‑enter the community. The role requires being both structured and compassionate while maintaining professional and respectful boundaries.
Responsibilities- Provide structure, case management, job development, and supervision to justice‑involved men as they re‑enter the community.
- Work within Adult Services, coordinating with Community Justice program staff to rehabilitate, educate, and guide clients from incarceration back into the community.
Eligible candidates (starting July 28, 2026) can earn up to a $2,000 sign‑on bonus by joining The Connection as a Case Manager:
- $500 after 90 days.
- $750 after six months.
- $750 after one year.
- High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of related experience in the direct service and case management field or an Associate’s Degree.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Newly hired employees are required to attend a two‑day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
