Behavior Interventionist
Works collaboratively to provide targeted behavioral support and intervention for students with identified behavioral needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree or higher is desirable
- Previous experience working with children is desirable
- Experience working with students with behavioral challenges in an educational setting, ideally within special education is desirable
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build supportive relationships with students
- Patience, compassion, consistency, and adaptability to meet students' behavioral needs
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to learn and implement behavior intervention techniques
