Transit Driver
- Doubles Endorsement Required

Location: 852 Voluntown Road, Jewett City CT

Must have a passion for driving and desire more home time. You will transport loaded and empty trailers, singles or doubles, from GFS Distribution Centers or from point-to-point via night transit. Night shifts mean you'll be home every day, and there's no touch freight required.

Schedule: Sunday
- Thursday, start time between 6:30‑7:30 p.m. and work until finished

Pay: Drivers yearly pay ranges from $90,000 to over $110,000. Component pay:
Pay per day and per trip.

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL License at hire.
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience with a Class
  
  A.
• Doubles (T) endorsement required.
• Must be able to push and pull up to 50 lbs (connecting trailers).
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass a drug test (including marijuana) and a background check.
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and GFS standards.
• Must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent; effective January 6, 2020.
