Accounting Manager

Must currently reside in the OKC metro area.

• Supervisory oversight of the investment accounting team.
• Investment reporting and subsequent analysis in adherence with statutory accounting principles (SAP), generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), or other accepted accounting principles (i.e., tax or cash basis) as applicable.
• Reviews and preparation of regulatory filings on a GAAP, SAP, or other accepted accounting principles (i.e., tax or cash) basis, including annual audit reports and annual statements.
• Providing significant guidance and supervision to accounting staff, including review of work produced to ensure reporting in accordance with accepted accounting principles.
• Leading complex research and accounting projects for the company.
• Maintaining advanced knowledge of all relevant source systems.
• Maintaining strong working relationships with customers and accountants within the division and affiliated companies.

• Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university.
• Master's degree from a four‑year college or university.
• CPA preferred.
• In lieu of a CPA or Master’s degree, 10+ years of accounting experience is acceptable with a concentration in financial reporting.

• Public accounting/public accounting management experience.
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• ERP experience required.
• Experience with consolidated financial statements preferred.
• Ability to effectively interface with business partners within organization.
• Advanced knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis.
• Strong data analytics and communication skills.
• Business intelligence and data visualization preferred.
• Ability to analyze reporting and financial data to determine compliance to established SAP and GAAP standards.
