Senior Analyst – Marketing Operations
Spreetail seeks a Senior Analyst to join our Marketing Operations team. In this role you will continuously innovate marketing analytics, ensuring all processes and tools are well‑documented, supported through training, and efficiently automated.
Responsibilities- Design and develop advanced analytics models and tooling infrastructure to optimize marketing processes and tooling.
- Oversee and enhance tools such as Promotions Optimization, Alerting Dashboard, Brand Workflow Engine, and Channel Search Optimization; develop new tools to support new business pursuits or improve current operations.
- Continuously monitor marketing processes and performance through advanced data analytics, creating predictive models that the reporting teams can use to support key marketing metrics 1+ year in advance (Impact, Lift%, Suppression Risk, Lost Sales from Alerting, etc.).
- Provide data‑driven insights for ad‑hoc marketing decisions, supporting the marketing management team with necessary data and tools, and ensuring analyses explain business drivers (e.g., dollars) versus count metrics.
- Collaborate closely with departments such as Merchandising, Planning, Training, S&T, FP&A, Pricing, and Demand to align marketing management with market demands, ensuring solutions scale to reduce time and increase efficiency over multiple years.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in business analytics, including SQL and Excel, and data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python and R.
- Advanced problem‑solving skills, able to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights in business terms (increased revenue, reduced costs, mitigated risk).
- Strong numerical and analytical aptitude and high proficiency in creating and managing advanced models.
