Silver Star Construction is seeking a motivated Concrete Construction Foreman to manage field crews on heavy civil and roadway projects throughout Oklahoma.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of workmanship.
Position OverviewThe Concrete Construction Foreman oversees all phases of concrete construction, from project startup through completion. Working closely with Superintendents and Project Managers, you'll coordinate personnel, equipment, materials, and schedules while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Essential Functions- Supervise concrete crews throughout all phases of construction.
- Organize daily work schedules and assign crew responsibilities.
- Oversee concrete forming, reinforcing, placement, finishing, and curing activities.
- Interpret blueprints, elevations, and engineering plans.
- Verify quality and accuracy of completed work.
- Schedule equipment, deliveries, and workforce requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
- Identify construction challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and production documentation.
- Communicate project status and scheduling updates with management.
- Mentor team members and promote professional development.
- Help maintain project schedules, budgets, and production goals.
- 3 or more years of concrete construction experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading construction crews.
- Strong understanding of concrete construction practices and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving history.
- Spanish-speaking skills are preferred.
- Experience operating heavy equipment and concrete tools is beneficial.
- Able to lift heavy materials and work in changing weather conditions.
- Must successfully complete a background check, drug screen, and physical.

- Providing project updates to customers and stakeholders when necessary
