Hyatt Shared Service Center provides accounting and customer service support for over 150 Hyatt Hotels in North America and Latin America. Hyatt is seeking a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Agent with a passion for hospitality to join our Accounting team. The purpose of this role is the execution and completion of SAMS registration for the properties within Hyatt Shared Service Center on behalf of the North American Hyatt Hotels and Resorts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide backup AR support to hotel properties
  • Review SAMS registration to ensure it is current and follow through to completion
  • Regularly contact customers, primarily via phone and e-mail, regarding any outstanding requests with the hotel
  • Pull any necessary backup as required for SAMS registration
  • Provide a high level of customer service to both external and internal customers
  • Promptly respond to all inquiries
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
  • Maintain regular attendance based on schedule and business needs
  • Monday–Friday workweek with 8 hours per day, plus an hour for lunch, between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM; weekend work is rare
  • Participation in employee events, onsite meetings, hotel visits, and industry conferences is expected
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues at multiple levels within the organization
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of customer service, administrative, or accounting experience
  • 1–4 years of customer service experience in one of the following industries is a plus:
    Hospitality, Accounting, Commercial Oil & Gas
  • Above-average written and oral communication skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Remote-work IT requirements:
    High-speed Internet; acceptable broadband types include DSL, Cable, and Fiber-Optic. Provider certification may be requested by Hyatt.
