Job Overview
A Life Services Financial Services Representative (Transition Specialist) is responsible for answering detailed questions about products, accounts, and financial services offered. The role focuses on guiding beneficiaries through the transition of deceased account assets and owning the wealth transition process. Responsibilities include taking inbound calls, processing documents, and preparing accounts for distribution to heirs. The position is part of the Life Services team and requires a mix of client service, document processing, and collaboration with specialists.
Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving escalated and complex inquiries and requests pertaining to accounts.
- Triage client requests and make referrals to appropriate internal specialists.
- Apply knowledge of financial products, financial planning, and banking services to educate clients on value‑added opportunities.
- Drive the wealth transition process forward through inbound and outbound calls, document processing, and distribution processing.
- Build relationships with clients through proactive outreach and a client‑focused call flow.
- De‑escalate client concerns by empathizing, taking ownership, and providing clear next steps and time frames.
- Execute on client disposition instructions for both simple and complex scenarios, including multiple beneficiary scenarios.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Strong computer application skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem‑solving skills.
- Active listening, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
- Customer and client focus, oral communication, and account management.
- Resilience, adaptability, and prioritization.
- Coaching ability and ability to identify referrals.
- Decision making, emotional intelligence, and result orientation.
- Minimum of one year in a performance‑based environment.
- Ability to handle 15‑20 calls per day.
- Coachable and willingness to provide white‑glove service.
- Careful attention to detail.

Pay range: $25.00 – $27.00 hourly (base salary, no incentive). This role is compensated with a base salary and is not incentive eligible.
