About the RoleK is seeking a Performance Expert to strengthen the physical and psychological health, resilience, and performance of Soldiers, Unit Leaders, Families, and Department of the Army Civilians.
Responsibilities- Master Resilience Trainers instruct individuals in holistic approaches to strength and conditioning and resilience.
- Conduct training intake, research, tailor course material, produce and distribute all training materials.
- Facilitate training events, grade student course materials, document student grades in required databases.
- Assess training impact by distributing surveys at the close of each activity, provide survey results and summarize training activities in an After-Action Review (AAR) within five workdays of session completion, and provide a quarterly report with analyses.
- Maintain records of trainings, observe instructors, provide feedback on delivery.
- Work as part of a team to deliver resilience and performance enhancement instruction aligned with unit missions and higher‑level guidance.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling Education, Coaching Education, or Kinesiology with an emphasis in sport and/or performance psychology.
- Teaching or coaching experience, preferably with military and DOD personnel.
- Thorough knowledge of the Army organizational structure, mission objectives, functions, procedures, regulations, and policy.
- PE’s must be evaluated and certified prior to performing PE tasks.
- Certifications or memberships within a professional association such as AASP, CMPC, or ABSP.
