Job Description
Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Job Title: Elementary Special Education Teacher
Location: Turpin, OK
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:15 PM
Caseload- Elementary grade levels
- Mild to moderate caseload
- Small district with approximately 40 students
Dates: August 12, 2024 - May 16, 2025
Work Arrangement: Onsite Preferred;
Open to virtual with experience
- Oklahoma Special Education Certification: Must hold a valid Oklahoma Special Education Teaching Certification.
- Experience: Prior experience working with mild to moderate caseloads preferred.
- Skills: Strong classroom management, effective communication, and the ability to create a supportive learning environment for students with special needs.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
- TB Test: Must have a current tuberculosis (TB) test clearance.
