Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified, state‑certified educator to deliver science and English courses for a K‑12 virtual high school at Insight School of Oklahoma (ISOK). The role involves building relationships with families, students, and learning coaches to ensure student success. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree, a current Oklahoma Secondary Science teaching certification, and reside in Oklahoma. The position is full‑time, primarily remote, with occasional travel for professional development and school functions.

- Deliver rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
- Personalize learning for all students and differentiate instruction based on mastery levels.

* * course content according to prescribed policies using appropriate tools under guidance from principal and coach. - Maintain grade book, ensure academic integrity, make placement and promotion decisions, and alert administrators to concerns.
- Prepare students for high‑stakes standardized tests.
- Establish and maintain positive rapport with families and communicate regularly with students, learning coaches, and parents.
- Support coaches and parents with educational and technical issues in the virtual classroom.
- Travel as required (average once per month and/or approximately 20% of the time).

- Active state teaching license.
- Ability to clear required background check.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Rapid learning and adaptation to new technologies and teaching platforms.
- Maintenance of teacher certification and professional development hours.
- Fluency in K‑12 systems, programs, and curriculum.
- Experience teaching or supporting the 9‑12 age group.
- Experience supporting adults and children with technology use.
- Experience teaching in an online or brick‑and‑mortar environment.
- Experience with online learning platforms.
