Bristow Adventist School (BAS) is seeking a dedicated head teacher for grades 1–8, beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be organized, able to maintain consistent routines, and committed to operating in harmony with both school and Conference policies.

This role requires the teacher to uphold high standards in academic achievement, character development, and Christ-like behavior while meeting the individual needs of each student. BAS is a small, one‑teacher school, currently serving ten (10) students with one constituent
church. The Bristow SDA Church has a growing number of younger children, and increased enrollment is anticipated in the coming years. The local community has shown strong support and interest in the continued success of the school.

• Collaboration and networking with teachers and administrators from Adventist schools across Oklahoma
• Highly involved parents who help with field trips, weekly hot lunches, and more
• Anticipated future enrollment growth from families within the Bristow SDA Church

• Must be a member in regular standing of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, committed to modeling Adventist beliefs and lifestyle.
• Multi‑grade teaching experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Preferably holds current SDA elementary certification, or will hold certification by the start date if currently completing a teacher‑preparation program.
• Must possess the legal right to work in the United States.
