Chisholm Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior High Speech Advisor. The advisor will guide students in developing their communication, presentation, and performance skills while fostering confidence, teamwork, and excellence in competition.

• Organize and conduct regular speech team practices.
• Coach students in various speech categories (informative speaking, persuasive speaking, dramatic interpretation, poetry, and storytelling).
• Coordinate participation in local, regional, and state tournaments.
• Manage competition registrations, travel, and event logistics.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented team environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and administration.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Background in speech, communications, or theatre desirable.
• Prior coaching or competitive speech experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Commitment to student development and extracurricular excellence.

Duties as assigned by the Activities Director.

Salary as per Extra-curricular Schedule.
