Silver Star Construction is seeking a Senior CAD Tech. Our employee-owned company is seeking an experienced CAD Tech, to join our team for our projects in various locations throughout the OKC Metro and surrounding areas. Job Description- Use computer-aided drafting software such as Auto-Cad, Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center, or other similar software.
- Produce 3D Models for dirt and paving for highways, public roadways, subdivisions, commercial developments, airports, and municipal developments.
- Take-off quantities for dirt and paving.
- Produce cut/fill sheets.
- Ability to draft ALTA/NSPS Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, As-built Surveys.
- Have knowledge of flood plains, data collection, GPS surveying and State Plane Coordinate Systems.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, surveyors, design teams and clients.
- Make necessary drawing and model changes based on design revisions.
- ODOT experience is highly recommended.
- Knowledgeable in 3D models, take-offs, boundary surveys, ATLA/NSPS surveys and contouring.
- Knowledge of surveying aspects pertaining to highways developments, public roadways, subdivisions, commercial developments, airports, and municipal developments.
- Proficient in file management and record keeping.
- Proficient mathematical and computer skills.
- Proven experience as a CAD Drafter or similar role.
- Must be highly motivated, organized, and possess a strong positive worth ethic.
- A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Highly detail oriented with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
- Education – High school diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience.
- Wage compensation based on skills and experience.
