Role Overview
The National Financial Solutions Advisors (FSAs) help clients and prospective clients with financial needs and goals that are most important to them. FSAs collaborate with clients daily to provide service and advice via a phone‑based platform, identifying broader product and service solutions that meet investment and savings needs. They demonstrate knowledge of investments and financial markets, apply key principles, align the Bank of America and Merrill offering model with business partners, and set clear expectations from the outset to create a smooth and streamlined experience.
Key Responsibilities- Triage client leads and referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds.
- Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals, build a financial plan, and recommend brokerage products.
- Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with client financial goals and needs.
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
- Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services.
- Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
- Maintain client relationships and provide after‑sales support and resolution communication.
- Series 7 and 66 licenses, or equivalent (Series 66 must be obtained within 90 days if not currently held).
- Minimum 1‑2+ years of financial advisory or investment experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
- Passion for excellence and willingness to exceed client expectations by communicating effectively and confidently.
- Ability to have meaningful, consultative conversations with clients to uncover needs and help them towards achieving multiple life priorities and goals.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related discipline strongly preferred, or 1‑2 years of relevant work experience.
Pay Range: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 annualized salary (based on experience, education, and skill set).
Incentives: Eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan with monthly, quarterly, and/or annual opportunities.
