Finance & Internal Audit Externship: Budgeting & Excel

Overview

CVS Health invites you to join the 2026 Finance and Internal Audit Externship experience this fall. As a Finance Extern, you will receive an introduction to corporate finance and accounting at a Fortune
10 company.

• 9‑session virtual program, 9/15‑10/1/2026

• Sessions are 1.5hours long (3:00‑4:15PM EST) on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for three weeks.

• Week1: 9/15, 9/16, 9/17
• Week2: 9/22, 9/23, 9/24
• Week3: 9/29, 9/30, 10/1

• Develop analytical skills with Excel training
• Build PowerPoint presentation skills
• Hear from experienced CVS Health leaders
• Pair with a mentor and enhance communication skills
• Create a mock budgeting presentation to business leaders

Early access to apply and interview for a position in the 2028 Corporate Finance Summer Internship program. The internship is a paid, hybrid work model at the following headquarters:
Cumberland, RI;
Hartford, CT;
Northbrook, IL.

• This externship program is unpaid. Pay information applies only to internship roles.

• Work visa sponsorship (CPT, OPT, F‑1) is not available for this role.

• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

• Interview decision communicated two weeks after submission.

• Meets educational requirements for the program (see Education section).

• Interest in a career in finance or accounting.
• Enjoys working in a collaborative environment with a diverse group of individuals.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Graduation date between December
  2028 and May
  2029.
• Major, minor, or concentration relevant to the position (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, or similar quantitative majors).
