Job Summary
- Assess patient condition.
- Perform CT exams and X‑ray exams.
- Assist radiologists with interventional procedures.
- Assist in maintaining patient and room workflow.
- Participate in quality management activities.
Completion of an accredited two‑year or four‑year program in radiologic technology, accredited by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
ExperienceOne (1) year of experience as a registered radiologic technologist preferred. Additional one (1) year of CT experience preferred.
Licensure / CertificationAmerican Registry of Radiological Technologists registered or registry eligible. Advanced registry in CT required within 18 months of orientation. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re‑training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) must be maintained through re‑training for duration of employment. IV certification required before or during new hire orientation.
