Corrections Certified Medication Aide

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Certified Medication Aide to work at a facility in Henton, OK. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $26 / hour

Shift: 12-hour shifts (6a – 6p and 6p – 6a). For specific days/shifts it would be determined by the nurse manager for each facility.

Job Responsibilities:

Administer medications to patients or residents as directed

Monitor patients for medication side effects or reactions

Record medication administration and patient information

Assist patients with daily living activities

Measure and record vital signs

Report patient concerns or changes to nurses

Maintain medication supplies and storage

Follow safety and infection control procedures

Assist with patient comfort and care needs

Support nurses and healthcare staff

Minimum Qualifications:

At least one year (12 months) of previous working experience as a Certified Medication Aide Must have up to date certification in the state of OKCPR card issued by the American Heart Association Ability to build rapport with patients

Compassionate and caring demeanor

Familiarity with medical terminology
