Radiology Technologist

Position Overview:

Responsible for performing imaging procedures such as CT and X-Rays with minimal supervision, providing technical assistance, and supporting patient care to meet the needs of patients across the facility.

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS systems.
• Perform imaging exams in accordance with policies, regulations, and notify physicians of results.
• Assist with clinical procedures under the direction of physicians and nurses.
• Maintain documentation, logs, and records in both paper and electronic formats.
• Collect laboratory samples, perform lab tests following policies and regulatory standards.
• Ensure supplies and reagents are stocked; perform routine maintenance and quality control checks.
• Participate in proficiency testing, quality assessments, and retain analytic records for at least two years.
• Perform ER technician duties as needed and travel between facility locations.
• Attend meetings and perform additional assigned duties.

• High School diploma or GED; AMA-approved Radiology Technology education.
• ARRT certification in radiography; CT certification required or within 12 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification.
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience; 1+ years CT and ER experience preferred.
• Proficiency with imaging hardware/software and PACS; fluency in English.
