Norman Regional Health System seeks a Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation services to the Norman community. In this role, you will assess functional limitations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to restore mobility and reduce pain. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team, educate patients and families, and document care in the EMR. Responsibilities- Evaluate and diagnose patients with mobility, strength, and functional limitations using evidence-based assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on restoring function, reducing pain, and preventing disability.
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and strategies to promote independence.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care.
- Document evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and set measurable, achievable goals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to best-practice standards in rehabilitation.
- Supervise and mentor PTA staff and students as appropriate, supporting a learning-focused environment.
- Adhere to all state practice laws, regulatory standards, and Norman Regional Health System policies.
