Insurance Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager
The primary role of a Commercial Lines Account Manager is to service our customers. The account manager is accountable for delivering high-quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients through the day-to-day account management of a group of middle market and/or large commercial lines accounts. This position supports key business outcomes such as client retention, satisfaction, and premium retention, and it plays a supporting role to Producers.
Responsibilities- Builds and solidifies relationships with existing clients by providing ongoing customer care.
- Processes endorsements, billing/payments (invoice transactions, record payments, prepare finance agreements).
- Assists Claims Coordinator when needed.
- Creates new and renewal business submissions.
- Generates loss runs (letters, orders, experience modifiers).
- Collects and helps complete supplemental applications and supporting documentation.
- Issues certificates, evidence of insurance, auto , and binders.
- Processes policies and mails them out.
- Creates proposals for Producers.
- Tracks and processes cancellations (pending and canceled).
- Audits tracking and issues bonds.
- Takes a leadership role in the renewal process in partnership with the Production team, delivering timely and high-quality solutions to clients.
- Supports one or more Producers and serves as first line of contact when the Producer is not available.
- Remeets accounts when necessary; accounts are rounded for existing Commercial Lines business.
- Rates and compares policies.
- Builds carrier relationships and stays current with carrier updates and underwriting information.
- Maintains complete and accurate client and policy data and documents within operating systems.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; college degree preferred.
- 3‑7 years of Commercial Lines insurance account management experience.
- Oklahoma and TX Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets.
- Experience handling large, complex risks.
- Professional designations such as CISR, CIC, AINS, AAI, ARM, CRM, or CPCU are highly desirable.
- Proficient in PC operating systems – Applied Epic.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Knowledge of and experience with Insurance Carrier websites.
