At CVS Health® we invite you to participate in the Underwriting Leadership Development Program (ULDP). The program is a 54‑month rotational experience designed to develop agile, growth‑minded talent into future underwriting leaders.

Location:
Hartford, CT. Work Arrangement: 3 days in office per week with hybrid option. Sponsorship:

Compensation:
Starting salary of $31.73 per hour. Pay range: $21.10 – $44.99 per hour, depending on experience, education, geography and other factors.
As a participant, you will:
- Evaluate risk and develop pricing strategies across underwriting segments.
- Support profitable growth and influence key business decisions.
- Conduct financial analysis and business insights to drive underwriting performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners in Sales, Actuarial, Product, and other areas.
- Participate in executive visibility, mentorship and committee work.
Participants will rotate through three 18‑month assignments, including:
- Commercial Underwriting
- Government Underwriting
- International Underwriting
- Dental, Vision Underwriting
- Pharmacy Underwriting
- National Accounts Public & Labor
- Voluntary Benefits
- Other risk management areas
- Process improvement and operational efficiency projects
- Underwriting innovation and automation initiatives
- Data analysis and business insights projects
- Cross‑functional business projects across Sales, Account Management, Actuarial, Product, and other areas
- Recruiting, onboarding, and early talent engagement initiatives
- Intern and extern program support activities
- Networking, community service, and culture‑building initiatives
- Strategic projects supporting underwriting and enterprise priorities

Post‑program placement is typically in a Manager (Level 109) role within our Commercial Underwriting organization.
