Position Overview
The Tulsa Bus Plant is currently seeking a Production Maintenance Manager. This position oversees the maintenance of production equipment, ensuring company standards are met and minimizing equipment downtime. It manages supervisors and technicians who repair and maintain production equipment, establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs and procedures, manages training programs, maintains inventory of spare parts, schedules manufacturing activities, and selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function.
Responsibilities- Set direction, allocate resources and manage teams to achieve departmental goals.
- Oversee team or department operations, including cost, staffing, and performance outcomes.
- Adapt plans and priorities to meet operational challenges and business needs.
- Implement and control policies and strategies with short-term tactical responsibility.
- Handle full personnel management, including hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, peers, and customers to address broader business issues.
- Analyze complex issues using business trends to inform decisions and improve results.
- Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of maintenance experience
- Master's degree and at least 4 years of maintenance experience
- At least 8 years of maintenance experience
- Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, refugee or asylee) to be employed in the United States.
