Warehouse Supervisor

Job Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all activities of the Shipping and Receiving Department to assure accurate records of inventory as well as timely shipping of finished product to ensure customer satisfaction. The role will be responsible for the safety and performance of the warehouse team.

• Maintain a safety-focused mentality and promote a safe culture.
• Maintain accuracy and control of finished goods inventory, including cycle count and reconciliation.
• Arrange and schedule overtime for warehouse associates.
• Prioritize shipping schedule and communicate changes or manufacturing issues to sales, supply chain, and manufacturing.
• Order supplies and procure materials as needed.
• Process all associated paperwork for shipping, receiving, and inventory activities.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety training and communications as required.
• Support a Lean Six Sigma culture, applying techniques and principles within the warehouse.
• Demonstrate attention to detail while managing the big picture and handling multiple complex tasks under pressure.
• Motivate staff, communicate effectively, and drive continuous improvement.
• Use solid planning, leadership, and administrative skills in a fast-paced environment.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of Shipping Department practices.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in mathematics.
• Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Computer literate in MS Office Suite and relevant maintenance software.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
